I Learned More this Week than the Last 6 Months
I’m not click-baiting you.
What I’ve learned this week was far more important than what I learned in the last 6 months.
Most days I slept only 4 hours. Constantly working on something or learning or implementing.
This week was by far the most productive.
And I’ll boil it down to 3 points so that you guys can get the best of it.
I’ll give you unfiltered, raw and 112 hours of knowledge in the next 5 minutes.
I’m more than certain that this will help you out more than it did to me because you’re learning about this beforehand and also in less time.
So buckle up.
1. Never EVER negotiate your prices
I’ve signed 2 clients this week.
But you know what, I could’ve had 6 instead of 2.
I rejected the others because they started negotiating on the price.
And if you know me better, you know I’ll never tolerate such things.
You either get it or you don’t.
Why do I do this?
It’s because I’ve had previous experience with such clients.
And trust me they are nightmares at best.
You’ll get a text from them every hour asking how the work is coming along and I don’t mind that.
But they demand an unrealistically stupid amount of results in less time and they want you to work at the speed of light.
And that’s how I declined nearly $5k worth of clients this week alone.
Learn this. Never under-value yourself no matter who the client is.
2. Speed
Everybody preaches speed, but rarely works on it.
I’ve hired a guy this week as a trial.
He was from a 3rd world country and he looked ambitious.
So I naturally hired him when he said that he’d work for free for a week and then if I liked it, he would be a part of the team.
But oh boy did I make a mistake.
This guy was everything I didn’t want him to be.
Slow in communication.
Yeah I can understand if you can’t be on the phone all day long, but this guy took a whole day to respond to a single message.
And I fired him in 2 days.
Most of you under-estimate how critical speed is.
If you’re quick enough you’d make some serious money.
But people barely understand that.
3. Coffee
I’ve been drinking coffee for a good amount of time now.
But for the last week I drank 4-5 per day.
I know it’s not healthy and how it can cause heartburns and stuff, but it kept me alive.
I’d stay up until 1 in the morning working, sleep, wake up at 5, drink a coffee and go back to work again.
That’s how important coffee was.
I know some of you don’t like to drink it, but please try it.
It’s such a miracle.
You’ll never feel like not working again.
That’s how powerful it is.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
I know you were expecting some kind of breakthrough knowledge, but seriously it’s the little things that matter.
Systems, SOP’s and coffee of course.
People ignore them and dive into things that they will never understand, simply because they failed to learn the basics.
