Your Funnel Sucks

- and I know why

I've seen many funnels and I mean many.

I even have case studies breaking them down.

And you know what made them efficient?

Well there are a lot of things in the cess pit of "perfect funnel actions"

I won't bore you with the regular stuff.

Let's start from the basics.

What is a sales funnel? Or a funnel of any kind?

It's a virtual sales process that is optimized to give you maximum output for the input it's been given.

Think of it as a car.

You need a car that gives you good mileage.

Sure you can go for a Lambo or a Ferrari, but they will burn out and are very costly to maintain.

That's something we need to control.

For a given input, we need maximum output and at the lowest cost.

That's what a funnel is.

Now that we're comparing it to a car, let's go with the flow.

Why do cars usually break down?

You know it already, because of bad parts.

If something is not working properly a.k.a giving you friction, that leads to a decrease in efficiency.

That's exactly what you have to remove in your funnel too.

The more friction you have the more drop-offs you're going to see = increase in churn rate (very bad)

Every element in your funnel from Landing Page, VSL all the way to the CTA and post-purchase response need to one thing and one thing only.

And that is to reduce friction.

The more number of people, the better the conversions = more $$$

The next important action is to maintain the retention of the customer.

If the customer stays longer on your page the more likely he is to convert. Always keep that in mind.

I'll give you the most efficient process to achieve higher retention rate.

Build out your funnel. Completely from scratch to the end.

Now according to your ICP select 5-10 people that you don't know anything about and ask them to leave a very harsh review or remark about your funnel.

Make sure that these are genuine reviews.

Tell them that the harshest review will get $50.

This is the best way to find all the flaws.

Instead of you spending thousands of dollars running ads, A/B testing and wasting a lot of time, do this instead.

It will give you faster results and it costs $50, don't cheap out.

After you get all the reviews, go and correct them and do it again with a different set of people from your ICP.

Ask them about what they liked about the page now.

Take notes and make the changes.

This is by far the cheapest way to optimize landing pages.

If you've got any other methods, let me know (I read all the replies)

Next up is CTA.

At every stage of the funnel, you need to have a CTA.

Landing Page? - get them to watch the VSL.

Watched the VSL? - get them to click the "book call" or "get course" or whatever your main CTA is

Did not buy? - ask them to opt-in using a lead magnet.

Did not opt-in? - retarget using ads and send them back to the Landing Page

At every stage, have a CTA.

If you find it annoying, then have fun with low sales. Name of the game.

I didn't even realize how long this email came up to.

I thought I'd write a small guide and here I am writing a complete essay.

I'll save some sauce for later.
